This advanced course will focus on various aspects of the Common European Asylum System (CEAS). The course will study the protection standards set in the EC Qualification Directive, Asylum Procedures Directive and Reception Conditions Directive, their implementation in national law and the emerging jurisprudence of the European Court of Justice in this field. In addition the course will examine the Dublin system, as well as present a special focus on the asylum system in Greece.
Finally, it will also look into future challenges for the CEAS and amendments to EU asylum legislation.

Hoe ver zou jij 's nacht lopen uit angst voor geweld?

Op zaterdag 25 september 2010 start om middernacht de NIGHTWALK in hartje Rotterdam. Een sportieve en spectaculaire krachtmeting van 40 kilometer, in het holst van de nacht. Vanaf de voet van de Erasmusbrug lopen 999 deelnemers via Schiedam, Delft, Rijswijk en Scheveningen naar Den Haag. Op zondagochtend 26 september wacht de deelnemers in Den Haag een warm welkom.
